Description:
Made from the nectar of the flowers of Castanea sativaon honey grand Cru chestnut is harvested in July, up to an altitude of 700 m, in forests, hillsides and groves.

It is harvested in one of the micro-terroirs preserved below. Its origin will depend on the periods of transhumance, flowering and climatic conditions.

- Amber and dark, our chestnut honey remains liquid for several months and crystallizes slowly. This honey, slightly creamy and granular, is characterized by a pronounced woody flavour, with a flowery note and a certain bitterness at the end of the mouth.

Honey is always liquid when it is harvested. It crystallizes naturally after a certain time, if it is not heated. White mottling may appear on the surface (especially in winter): this visual sign indicates that your honey is truly pure and rustic.
