L'Swedish Elixir 17,5° Bio laboratories Saint-Benoît is a food supplement recommended for support the digestive and immune systems.

L'Swedish Elixir has always been recognized and sought after for its digestive properties. A long time ago the herbalists used the theriac (Venetian aromatic blend) for its bitter taste.

It is the reflection of the secular tradition transcribed by the Dr. Samst in the 18th century. The 59 biological components of this elixir are, for their majority, those used in the original recipe of the true Swedish Elixir of St Benoit Laboratories.

Usage:
Take 1 teaspoon, 1 to 3 times a day, diluted in a hot or cold drink.
It is recommended to take the Grand Elixir du Suédois at each change of season and after a heavy meal.

We have reformulated the entire range of Swedish elixirs following the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2021-468 amending Annex III of Regulation (EC) 1925-2006 on plant species containing hydroxyanthracene derivatives, substances naturally present in many plant species, including rhubarb and senna, which were part of our formula.

In order to comply with this new regulation, we have decided to replace rhubarb and senna with burdock and raspberry; plants with similar properties but naturally devoid of hydroxyanthocene derivatives.
