Frequently asked questions :
What is authentic Kombucha?
Authentic Kombucha is a green tea, fermented with a "scoby" (Symbiotic Culture Of friendly Bacteria and Yeasts)
Sugar is used as food for this "Scoby". The process has been passed down from generation to generation for over 2200 years.
What makes Kombucha unique?
Does Kombucha contain sugar?
Each authentic kombucha is prepared from tea, water and sugar. Most of this sugar is consumed by the yeast and bacteria during the fermentation process before bottling, so a small amount of sugar remains in the drink.
Why drink Kombucha?
Kombucha is an amazing drink that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
Open the bottle, pour yourself a glass and escape for a few seconds to relax. If the drink is too carbonated, shake the glass a few times. Carbonated and healthy, Kombucha is ready to take care of you.
Why is Kombucha packaged in a dark bottle?
Kombucha is packaged in a dark bottle to protect the probiotics from ultraviolet rays or the harmful fluorescent light that comes from household refrigerators.
Why does a deposit remain in the bottom of the bottle?
During the second fermentation, which takes place after bottling, the yeasts "eat" the oxygen in the bottle and settle at the bottom
The presence of a slight deposit proves that you are drinking what you paid for: a healthy, naturally fermented beverage.
I sometimes notice a slight difference in acidity and carbonation. Is this normal?
Kombucha is a drink that is not containing neither preservatives nor stabilizers. The physicochemical process that it undergoes during the various stages is complex and varied. This is why you may sometimes notice differences. This can be explained by the storage in the store or at home. In any case, these changes do not alter the quality of the drink or the pleasure of making it your health ally.
How much Kombucha should I drink?
Each person has to estimate this amount personally. Listen to your body.
If you are new to this healthy drink, we recommend that you allow your body to get used to its purifying effect. Drink 100-150 ml twice a day.
After a few days, you can enjoy more. Kombucha is a healthy drink, and its greatest drink 1.5 litres daily
Your body can only benefit from this.
Why is kombucha good for my body?
Kombucha is an organic source of live prebiotic enzymes that are particularly beneficial for healthy digestion.
Can pregnant or nursing women consume kombucha?
Like other purifying products, kombucha is not suitable for pregnant or nursing women.
What happens if I leave a bottle of Kombucha in a warm place?
Kombucha is a living drink, and you should treat it with care. Store it in a cool, shady place, preferably in the refrigerator.
Warm bottles tend to contain more gas. We recommend that you enjoy the drink chilled and store opened bottles in the refrigerator.
Does Kombucha contain caffeine?
The amount of caffeine it contains is negligible, less than 5 mg
